Just saw 5 stars everywhere when first came to this audio page, so I knew it had to be good.
And I must say, it was pretty good, but not totally down my allyway. I definetly understand that for people who likes the found Music genre, this would be awesome, but for me I'm only able to look at it as darkstyle R&B, and I think it's a bit too repetetive for that.

Still an interesting piece though and I understand why people can dig this :).
4 stars.

Thanks for the feedback. I do agree this is repetitive but it is a hip hop beat, and a battle beat at that. It's important that each one of the 16 bar segments were similar enough that competing MCs have a relatively equal playing field.

Dafudge, this is super intense and totally down my alley :D. My fellow RRc member has already pointed out that this song would be awesome with just a little bit more variety, and I stand behind that :).
The synths are perfect for this, and I loved the kick in this :D.

Yet another great piece. Think you've become a Review Request club favourite at this point X3.
All I can ask myself is how in the world did you do that buildup halfway through o_O? It was just too amazing and pure genius.
You've got yourself another perfect score and another fan. Great job :D!

Thank you! That buildup was actually very difficult, but was requested by the client. The motives that were set up early on could have been extended and developed, but the piece needed to be ~3:00 (or at least that's all I was getting paid for). The project specs demanded that the piece go to a more turbulent place with "tribal" percussion and electric guitars. I sort of forced the transition, then tried to smooth things over through orchestration and arranging. I'm glad it seems to have worked out.

Huwii, ths is awesome. The intro was misleading, which I love btw. Caught me by surprise when it suddenly became super catchy. As taintedLogic mentioned, the ending was a bit too sudden.
The mixing is spot on, and the structure is pretty good. I kinda missed an arpeggio laye, just to not make the track to repetetive, but that's really just my style and my preference X3.
Great track yet again :) larry.

I'm kind of worried that maybe the misleading intro led people to click away, which would have sucked lol.

This track is short and undeveloped because I was worried that if I touched it any more I would break it and it would suck.

Thanks for the review!

Great composition bro :). Like the lyrics and the guitar playing :).
The audio quality could have been better though, as the guitar drowns the vocals at some places :).

Thanks, really glad you dug this one! I still really need to shell out money for better equipment, and I definitely do need to work on my editing a bit.

Pretty nice tune. This is a genre that seems to fit you. t's a bit repetetive though. With "repetetive" I don't only mean that the melody is repetetive, but my main issue with this track is that it has consistent dynamics throughout the entire song. I never feel like the energy level of the song varies at all. If youl isten to a lot of the 8 bit music in games like super mario, you notice thatthe composer varies the energy level of the song by adding parts with rapid notes for an instance.
Easier to explain with an example:

Listen to how the composer around 2:33 adds a part where there are more inbetween notes and runs. This really helps to vary the dynamics of the song as well as the melody. Hope you get my point XD.

Other than that, this is a pretty solid composition. Would sound great in a video game :).

Most of what need to be said has already been said. this just sound like one big buildup really, and I just found myself waiting for a transition that never came :/. You pretty much nailed what you did do, love it. Think Drum N Bass is a genre that fits you, but need that melodic gold ;).

thx. im still a bit new to making songs though x3

Good track, some things I wasn't to fond of about it though. As Larrynachos said, the intro is a bit weak. It doesn't really sound like it's building up at all before 0:25, but still then I feel like the buildup could have been greater. also, when the bass comes in around 0:30, I must say that I hated the timing of it. It's clearly offbeat, and even though you probably did this on purpose, it really annoyed my ears and brain. Makes it sound like the kick is lagging behind. when the rest of the synths come in around 1:00 though, this problem is fixed and the track sounds pretty awesome from there :). Really was just the first minute that I disliked, but listeners will often just listen to the first minute of the song before deciding if it's good or bad, so a good intro is always important.

JandreParis pretty much said everything I would have said about this track, and more :).
A pretty fantastic composition with a nice arrangement and great use of instruments.
The brass and strings at the beginning felt a bit awkward to me as well. sounds like the attack settings or whatever you use to fade the instruments in like that are a bit offbeat, so they don't really start or stop where I would expect it to. Doesn't have to be a bad thing though, just personal preference I guess.

Overall a great compositions with some great ideas :).

The chord progression and arrangement of this was pretty good :D. I actually love the track apart from the mixing . I think the main problem is that you don't eq your synths properly. I advise you to go through a tutorial on eq'ing . A good or bad eq makes or breaks a track like this.
I agree with Keitomine that compression is important as well, but if the eq is bad, compression will only make it worse. concentrate on learning proper eq'ing for now, and I promise you that you won't regret it :).
