I'll fix the chain in the R4R thread by reviewing this :).

I think what Chainsawninja is trying to say below is that you shouldn't add the bass in the buildup. at least not at it's most powerful. Try having a weaker bass and weaker kick drum play during the buildup then have the bass and kick at it's most powerful when the drop hits.

I'm not that good with Hardwell stuff though so I'm probably not the best to explain it, but I would advice to listen to some other trap or hardwell-ish tracks and see how they did the drop. At first, try to copy exactly what they did then when you understand the mechanics of it make it your own.

Anyway it's pretty nice for a trap beat it's smooth and pretty cool and chill.
It got dynamics in different part of the songs which makes it awesome to listen too even though it's repeative like a trap beat should.

Here's 4 stars for you :).

MegaMettaurX responds:

Thanks a lot. I'll have to continue studying the techniques used for this current generation of Sound. It's really fun making though. Now I see why Trap took off so well.

The melody is cool and I the sound of it but I felt that it was a bit to tame for house music.
I know that not all music need a huge drop but I felt that could at least have a little tiny drop or changing the lead.
At 1:08 It sounded like there would be a drop but it never came which disappointed me a bit.

I guess I just like house music with huge drops, but I still do think this was too tame.
It also was pretty repeative. I know House music is supposed to be like that but it sounded like I just listened to the same pattern for 4 minutes without any change in the instrument or the beat.

Still a pretty cool beat though. If you made the beginning into a build up and then transist the song into some kind of supersaw pattern it would be awesome :D.

Chemiqals responds:

Thanks for the feedback!

Sounds awesome so far :).

Greenskullkid responds:

Thanx you

Welcome to the audio portal :D.

The beat itself is pretty nice but you might want to look into how to mix your tracks better. It sounded really messy and each instrument wasn't as clear as possible which is probably because of a lack of proper equalizing. The drums and the bass-ish instrument sound like they are overpowering a lot of the mid and high frequencies that the lead should dominate I think.
I'm not that good at mixing myself actually but I've tried to learn to do it properly lately.
Here's a great tutoriar or you could look up some utube vids:

Anyways nice beat and welcome to the portal :).
This is a good start.

Another beautiful piece :D. The bass at 0:20 totally made my day :D.
I loved that video game sounding sound at 0:40 too :D.
The part that starts at 1:20 is awesome too.
Loved the part at 1:40 too... Ok I pretty much loved everything XD.
Love ur style as always.

Easy 5 stars.

Kreyowitz responds:

Haha! Well thank you! Glad you could enjoy it! :D

Nice chill song you here :D.
I like how the distortion changes throughout the track :D.
The percussion is really nice too and gives me a chillaxing feel :D.
Only thing is that the first minute or so of the track got boring after a while.
I know it's supposed to be progressive but I still think you should have added some sorth of dynamic in the sound there.

Overall the track was pretty nice :).

That intro!! I just loved that sound :D.
The part that starts at 0:14 was kinda annoying because the synth sounded a bit offbeat but it still sounded good. The part that started at 1:13 made my day :D. Loved that sound.
I didn't really like though the part at 1:30 where everything goes silent. There was no sort of buildup to it and it happend too abrubt for my liking. It was only the transistion there that was bad. That part itself is epic :D.

A really cool beat you got here. Keep it up :D.
4 stars

It kinda annoys me that people are able to create awesome pieces like this in just two days X3.
It takes me 2 days to do the mixing and mastering itself and still my mix dosen't even sound that good.
This is a lovely cinematic track. The overall sound dosen't feel as full and ambient-ish as it could be, but it's still great :D.

One of the best songs I've ever heard :).

This is absolutely brilliant!
I only have on remark:
The wobble dosen't mix well with the rest of the track. It's too loud and really dosen't fit there at all.
I would advice you to look at some tutorials how to master a dubstep song.

Cool melody though :). Keep it up

Deidara responds:

I will definitely look into mastering; I didn't really use much besides a basic plugin because of the low CPU on my computer. The lag get's pretty awful by the time I try to master. Anyways thanks mate, I appreciate the review!

I make Dance and stuffz. EctiBot is a mix of Ecti, and Bot. Profile pic made by solwings.newgrounds.com :D!
